The team welcomed nearby Keynsham to Bradley Stoke. The visitors, although nothing to play for as far as the league was concerned, were seeking to avenge their 7.2 loss at home to the reds before Christmas when goals flowed fleely.
From early on tactics were clear. The guests were to sit back, utilise the long aerial ball and in defence slow down the Glos attack and game by any means necessary. A goal in each half was enough for Keynsham to bag the points with the reds unable to gain their usual open positions in front of goal for easy slots.
